The Next 25 Years

 I think as we go into the future we are going to experience more of a technological change. Unlike the bet Kelly and Sale made, we now know even more about technology and where it has brought us. Their predictions were not far off but if we were to make the same bet we might look into some different areas.

• Lack of hands-on jobs. This means that due to the creation of more and more machines to make our work experience easier, companies would look into more investments. We could be looking at a future where everything is technology-based and we would just have an overseer.
• Digital Economy. This would come in the form of crypto-currency and stocks. Everything is from the phone nowadays and people have got into the groove of stocks and how they work, so much so that it is rare that you don't know about it. On top of that, people are investing in crypto and growing their online bank accounts. Would if we move to a future where there is no more paper money?
• Virtual Reality. VR is already a big thing but what if we took it to the next level? The metaverse for example is like a digital universe and something like this could spread and get bigger. How would you feel if everything wasn't really there and it was just an illusion, digitally configured?
